New Year 2020

It's the new year 2020!

Wow! I can't believe I've made it this far.  Amazing.

God is good.  Always.

So let me catch you up to speed as it were.

I am now married since November 23rd, 2019 to Alex and I have never been happier in my life.  Are we the perfect couple. Nope. We have days where we click perfectly and then other days when we clash.  We both have made it clear to each other that we are in it for life.  Everyone in my life says they have noticed how much I have grown as a person and my heart says that it has mostly everything to do with Alex.  He is the most amazing, sweetest person who genuinely loves me and I know in my heart of hearts that he will never do anything to intentionally hurt me and I know that he knows the same things applies from me to him. In just over a week we will be headed for a couple of days to Laughlin, NV for our honeymoon and I can't wait.  I'm so freaking happy.

I also just completed an internship at work for the past three month as a stretch lead.  It was the most amazing and craziest experience ever.  Lots of things happened such as at all our sites in October a combined number of people were laid off.  300 people all together. It was a pretty stressful situation for all of us and several friends of mine were let go. Also because of the holiday season which is referred to as peak season there was a lot of required phone time. I am pretty happy with how I handled my internship and I am pretty sure my bosses are happy as well.  I am officially back to the phone until a new permanent lead position opens up and hopefully when I interview I get the position.

I also lost someone I cared about.  Marilyn.  She was my boss and one of the many people laid off in October despite having been with the company for many, many years.  Her and her sons were murdered by her husband and their dad who was suffering from PTSD.  Yesterday, Sunday we had a vigil for them and many people showed up.  The feeling of loss and grief but also love filled the air.  This Thursday will be their funeral where the will be laid to rest and for those of us surviving there will be some semblance of closure.  Marilyn was greatly loved at ADS and I pray she knows just how much she was loved.

That's it for now, just wanted to wish everyone a joyful and happy New Year, this will be the year I become fluent in ASL (American sign language), read my bible in its from cover to cover, and hopefully get in better shape.....oh and get my teeth fixed.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog, I hope that this year I will be blogging much more often.  Mostly to just vent and write things down as my memory def is not what it used to me.

Goodnight everyone, God bless, Yeshua is my King and God and Savior and I adore and worship Him with everything that I have.
